If you’re a newbie content marketer juggling client deadlines, messy spreadsheets, and a dozen open tabs, close to tears from the overwhelming mountain of tasks in front of you, I see you.

I’ve been you. Overwhelmed, overworked, and wondering how everyone else seems to “automate everything” while I’m still manually resizing images at 10 PM. I have struggled with multiple tasks sent my way at 7 PM on a Friday, since I work from home, colleagues and managers seemed to think that it was okay. (No, it never is, managers!)

That’s why with any task I was assigned; I started finding ways to do it quicker and more efficiently, and to automate repetitive tasks that were so time consuming. When I set a system in motion and it worked smoothly for me, I decided to create The Content Marketing Automation Vault.

It was a patchy guide until Copilot became my work buddy. Now, it's a guide with step-by-step instructions on how to automate some of the generic content marketing stuff we do on a weekly basis.

I always look for AI tools that are free to use, because you very well know the budget most organizations and clients earmark for content marketing. So, for most of my career, I've had to find my own solutions, and this has been a blessing in disguise because now, I can show you how to do it.

The No-Code Struggle Is Real

Listen, as a BCom graduate (Bekaam, you can call it), who has so far got absolutely nothing to with coding, I identify as a no-code content strategist who knows exactly how intimidating automation can feel at first.

You open Zapier, stare at the screen, and think:
“Wait… what’s a trigger again?”
“Do I need to learn code for this?”
“Why does everyone else make this look so easy?”

Or, you don't even know what (or who) Zapier is.

Here is what I know. Seasoned Content Marketing Strategists didn’t start easy either. They had to figure out ways and put together systems that worked best for them, that made work less burdensome for them. Every content marketer has their own little system and own set of hacks that they put together. I'm sharing mine.

And if the thought of using AI tools and systems worries you, you’re not behind - you’re just ready to begin exploring and learn how to build smart systems that serve you.

Why I Built This no-coding Content Marketing Vault

I built this guide because I needed it. Because when I was a newbie, my seniors didn't have the time or the willingness to share best practices and hacks that worked for them. I struggled. I looked incompetent. I looked incapable of handling an impossible workload that seemed impossible only to me- not to the managers and colleagues that assigned it to me.

I was SO tired of:

  • Manually posting content across platforms

  • Scrambling to deliver lead magnets

  • Spending hours on performance reports

  • Feeling like I was duct-taping my systems together

So, I documented everything that worked for me. It took a lot of trial and error, scouring the internet for free tools, finding out all I could about no code automation, discussing in Reddit subgroups for content marketing and a lot of scribbling to create a skeleton of a structure for each task I repeatedly do in my work.

Then I tested these systems repeatedly for different clients, different projects.
It worked fairly decently across all boards.
When I knew I have systems that only need minor tweaks to suit each client or project, I noted down the framework of each automation and then made a collection of these.

I shared what I knew with newbies under my care. Yes, care, because when I was a newbie, that is what I was missing. Those who tried these little systems out, loved it. So here it is, for every newbie content marketer.
